Hollywood Comes Calling...Sort Of...

So the quints have aged up to children, Vicki is still here, so the house is full, but it's empty during the day, so I am finally getting some much deserved "Me" time! I spend it working on my martial arts. I like the idea of being able to defend my family if need be! I kinda suck at the beginning...I'm pretty sure this dummy is heckling me...

When I get my first belt, I feel like a bad ass...oh yeah...I could put some hurtin' on somebody! Haha!

Vicki is still with us. She's working on getting her grades up and she says she would miss the quints too much if she left. I'm thinking it's a version of Stockholm Syndrome, but that's just me. Don't get me wrong, I love my children, but I'm sure you'll agree that sometimes being a mother is a thankless job. Anyway...Vicki is closest to Jules. Jules idolizes her big sister!

Of course, I am still battling the bulge. My body has been through a rough time after carrying quints, so I'm working out again.

Of course, I get a call from my dear friend, Winston Sergo.
Me: Well, hey there Sergo...what's happening?
Sergo: You sound like you're in a better mood...

Me: Do you hear that?
Sergo: No, what do you hear?
Me: Nothing! That's why I'm in a good mood! All my kids are in school!
Sergo: You do realize that you have 78 more children to give birth to after this, right?
Me: Yeah, but not at the same time.

Me: So anyway, what can I do for you?
Sergo: I was just calling to let you know that the second vampire warrior is here and ready to come to you whenever you're ready for him.
Me: Okay, Vicki is probably going to be ready to leave tonight or tomorrow, so he can come then, okay?
Sergo: I'll let him know. ***Click***
Da'gon...that never stops being annoying.

I have so much time to myself, I don't know what to do...first, I work on learning the guitar...

I improve my writing skill...

I go fishing (at night, of course!)

I go to a party at Jenna's house. She's living with her boyfriend and she tells me she's pregnant! I can't wait to meet my first grandchild!

Even though Logan was the one that was delayed before, he has caught up. However, Mason is having issues in school. His grades are dragging behind the other four. I'm not really sure what's going on. I hear him talking to Isobel about helping him.

Soon, it's Vicki's birthday! I order her a special cake infused with Plasma fruit!

Vicki grows up to be a beautiful young woman. She's skinny as a rail, and looks delicate, but she's anything but!

She's actually starting to become a celebrity in her own right...a friend of hers from high school, Janae, asks for her autograph and she graciously gives her one.

So after Vicki leaves, I continue to work on my martial arts. I'm getting pretty good!

On the weekends, the quints love to learn, so they mostly work on their skills, but occasionally they will go outside and play. I have to admit, I wish I could join them.

I do, however, have plenty of time to kick their tails on the video games! Haha!

Although at night, I have time to go out and get a drink.

Vanity is under new management and has made the barmaid wear this crappy makeup on her face...uh, ewww...isn't this slightly prejudiced or something?

As I was chatting to the barmaid, I get a whiff of something delicious...ooh, I know he's a member of the paparazzi, but I can't help myself...I make him think about me...

Unfortunately, he takes off and goes to the park...those paparazzi are so difficult to track down when you really want them! Oh well, I had already targeted him (Wrath taught me how to hunt), and I followed his scent...so I got him! Unfortunately, one of his friends caught me biting him...uh-oh...

Crap, I'm gonna be in so much trouble...I make a call to Sergo and prepare myself for a lecture.
Sure enough...

Sergo: Hadley! What have I told you about feeding on people in public?
Me: Oh please, like you've never done it...

Meanwhile this dang paparazzo is shooting pictures of me.

Sergo: Hadley, listen to me. One of the only reasons that vampires and humans live together so harmoniously is that we don't feed on random strangers. We either eat plasma fruit or if we date a human, we can feed on them in a consensual manner.
Me: So you're saying I need to get a boyfriend?
Sergo ignores me: I'll fix this...just don't let it happen again!

So I get off the phone with Sergo and head home.

The next morning, after I change into my clothes, I turn around and nearly run into the most beautiful man I've ever seen. He's got disheveled blonde hair, bulging muscles, sparkling blue eyes, and a dazzling smile.

"Hello," he says, "my name is Rhage. My friends call me Hollywood."
I stare at him, speechless, "uh...uh..."
He continues, "I'm here to impregnate you...this ringing any bells?"

Finally, my brain catches up.
Me: Oh, right...yeah, I'm Hadley. I'm sorry...you just caught me off guard.

Rhage, or Hollywood, and I talk for a little while and we realize we are both commitment phobic.

Then he does something I don't expect. He hands me the most beautiful pink roses.
Rhage: I got these for you.
Me: Oh, they're beautiful...you didn't have to...
Rhage: Oh, no, but I did.
He gives me this look that falls somewhere between lust and reverence.
Heart. melts. Right there...

We start talking again and I mention that I've been practicing martial arts. He tells me that he and all his brothers are masters in martial arts and he wants to see what I've got...

I show him what I've got...

And he shows me what he's got...somewhere in this, it's really starting to turn me on...

When he grabs the foot that I kick toward, him, he runs his fingers down it a little more than normal. A tingle starts in my toes and runs through me.

We stop because he basically kicked my butt. He gives me another one of those looks that makes my heart pitter patter...

Looking at him, I feel inferior. I can't imagine he is getting anything out of sleeping with me.
Me: Well, you know...we could just do our thing and get it over with...
Rhage: Oh no, Hadley, the last thing I want to do is just get this over with.
Another one of those looks...*sigh*
Dang, these vampire are proving to be really good for my ego.



Unexpectedly, he leans in and gives me a kiss. Even though I was unprepared, his lips are soft, and very kissable.

In an effort to compose myself and do this right, I grab his head and pull it toward mine. He wraps his muscular arms around my waist.

Somehow, we end up on the couch...I'm not really sure where his clothes went...hmm...he wraps his arms around me and presses his lips on mine. His technique is amazing, his tongue works as though it were made of liquid gold. Hmm, he's a bit better than Wrath, I believe.

I pull away from him and invite him to my room.

Rapidly, we both run in my bedroom and...well...you know how that goes. ;)

The funny thing is, he wants to spend a lot of time with me afterward. He was really playful. We had a pillow fight....

He joined me and the kids for dinner, but I didn't get a picture of it...

After dinner and the kids go to bed, he wants to take me out, so we go to Vanity. While we're there, he pulls me into a passionate kiss...I can't help but think about what having a baby with him is going to be like.

When Vanity closes, we go to the park...unfortunately, morning sickness has kicked in for me and I have to run to the bathroom.

When I'm done, I brush my teeth. As partial as he is to kissing (and let me just say, YIPPEE!), I don't want to have vomit breath.

We sit at the park and watch the stars. He keeps moving closer to me.

He leans over and whispers in my ear...but I'll just keep what he said to myself. ;)

We rush home at dawn...

"I had a wonderful evening with you tonight, Hadley," Rhage tells me and pulls me into another passionate kiss.
Unfortunately, morning sickness takes over and I only hope I don't throw up in his mouth...that would be bad...very bad!

Either way, I had an amazing night. He is a charmer, that one! On top of everything, Baby 23 is definitely on the way!
